2019 Ford Mustang

The Ford Mustang is one of Ford’s most iconic vehicles that shaped the way America looked at muscle cars. The Mustang has come a long way from its debut in 1964 adding more and more technology and power into their vehicles. With the newly redesigned S550 chassis in 2015, the introduction of the Ecoboost Mustang shocked the V8 purists with the turbocharged 4 cylinder motor.

Fast forward to 2019 where the V6 engine has been completely eradicated and only the Ecoboost and V8 GT options remain (minus the popular GT350). Today we are going to look into the different trim levels of the 2019 Ford Mustang and see which of the 4 different models is best for you. You can also choose the famous Bullit or GT-350 for the 2019 year as well, but for now, we are going to focus on the most popular models commonly purchased.

2019 Ford EcoBoost Fastback
The EcoBoost engine, a 2.3L turbocharged 4 cylinder engine, was a huge risk for Ford as they have not had a 4 cylinder Mustang in a few decades. It payed off well throughout the 2015-2018 years and has made a return for the 2019 year models. The base level EcoBoost is going to include a refreshed EcoBoost engine, an independent rear suspension, and LED headlights with the signature LED lighting. You will also get basic features such as 17” wheels, dual exhaust, hood vents, SYNC, leather wrapped accents, and cloth seats.2019

2019 Ford GT Fastback
For those who like the rumble and torque of the V8, the Mustang GT is about as good as it gets. The high powered Coyote 5.0L engine makes a return in 2019 with the same Gen 3 Coyote motor found in the 2018 models producing well over 400 horsepower. For the base level GT you will get a dual exhaust with quad exhaust tips, LED fog lights, SYNC, 18” machined face alminum wheels with ebony black painted pockets, and cloth front bucket seats.

2019 Ford GT Premium Fastback
